FRANÇAIS Le Parc du Gros Morne est clairement un des endroits les plus grandioses de Terre-Neuve. Cependant, c’est à environ 7 heures de route de St. John’s. Nous y sommes allés une fois et on a fait seulement une petite partie (le parc est immense). Nous avions dormi une nuit à Rocky Harbour et dormi le reste des nuits en camping du Parc National. Si vous ne voulez pas faire de camping, Woody Point Trout River, Norris Point et Rocky Harbour ont plusieurs options d’hôtels et Bed and breakfast. Voici quelques suggestions: > Tablelands (randonnée à faire dans ce lieu géologique vraiment impressionnant; un paysage un peu lunaire) > Green Gardens Trail > Gros Morne Mountain (une des plus grosses randonnées) > Western Brook Pond pour voir les fiords. Les tours de bateau se font via Western Brook Bon Tours. __ ENGLISH Gros Morne is definitely one of the most breathtaking places in Newfoundland. That said, it’s about a 7-hour drive from St. John’s. We’ve only been once and explored just a small portion, since the park is enormous. We stayed one night in Rocky Harbour and camped in the national park campgrounds for the rest of our trip. If camping isn’t your thing, Woody Point, Trout River, Norris Point, and Rocky Harbour all have several hotels and bed & breakfast options. There’s so much to do in the park—here are some suggestions: >Tablelands – A hike through this incredible geological site. > Green Gardens Trail – Stunning coastal views and cliffside trails. > Gros Morne Mountain > Western Brook Pond – For fjord sightseeing.
