The Wedding Website of Laurence Pinard and Andy Lee
Dinner & Party: As many of you know, the bride and groom love running marathons, and this celebration reflects that spirit. French weddings are famously long — we love to eat, drink, and dance — and the dinner is the heart of the day: festive, unhurried, and served in several courses. To keep everyone going until the early morning, we’ll start with lighter drinks, enjoy wine during dinner, and serve hard liquor only afterward. Dessert: The pièce montée is a traditional French wedding dessert: a tower of cream‑filled profiteroles held together with caramel, marking the grand finale of the meal. Wedding Favor: Dragées are classic French wedding favors — sugar‑coated almonds symbolizing love, prosperity, and good fortune — offered as a small thank‑you for celebrating with us.
