I met Zach’s Mom; Leigh and his little sister Grace when they joined me and my two little sisters Mia and Reese Trick-or-Treating. Mia and Grace played a large role in Our Love Story. The two were in the same class at Lincoln Christian and just happened to be neighbors as well. I knew Grace had a few crazy brothers, but I had never met them. Somewhere, somehow Zach and I followed each other on Instagram, I’m not sure I even put two and two together at the time, but boy was he cute. During this time when I was visiting the girls, Grace came over to play. I posted a picture of all four of us, *beep beep* my phone rings, It’s Zach. We message back and forth for a day or two. Next thing I know we are hanging out on a Friday night, by Saturday he had met Mom and Step-dad, by Sunday he had left for Lawrence, KS. I thought to myself… well there goes that, total bummer. Against the odds, we continue to message and by next weekend I am down in KC visiting him. Where to my surprise he asked me to be his girlfriend. In this whirlwind of events, we fell in love, and here we are… if you ask both of us, we call it love at first sight, so yes it does exist.
