If you are religious, I recommend booking a tour with a guide to not miss out on any of the sites. They will take you around the Jewish, Arab, Chirstian and Armenian quarters. You must go to the Mahane Yehuda Market, often referred to as "The Shuk" it is where you can shop, eat amazing food and people watch. Restaurant Recommendation: Machneyuda (a chef restaurant, not to be confused with the market) Beit Ya'akov St 10, Jerusalem **Pro tip: make a reservation ahead of time
I recommend renting a Bird scooter or one of the green city bicycles from Tel Aviv and ride along the beach boardwalk to Jaffa. It is a very easy ride, but you do need a helmet if you are riding the scooters. Restaurant Recommendations: Hummus Abu Hassan (lunch option that closes early) Ha-Dolfin St 1, Tel Aviv-Yafo
Rent a car or book a tour and check out the sunrise at Masada, an ancient fortress in southern Israel’s Judean Desert. Masada overlooks the Dead Sea and it is an easy ride over to enjoy one of my most favorite places in Israel. **Pro tip: buy some Dead Sea mud and lather it on your body, let it dry and dup into the Dead Sea. Beach, bikes and sun! Tel Aviv is full of amazing beaches and restaurants. Our favorite hangout is Hilton Beach Club. If you are looking for the best spot in Tel Aviv to watch the sunset it is on the top of Hilton Beach on the south side of the Hilton Hotel. I think Israel has the best food in the world, so be sure to try everything. Be sure to eat jachnun, shawarma, falafel, hummus and sabih. Restaurant Recommendations: Romano Derech Jaffa 9, Tel Aviv-Yafo Sabih Fishman Frishman St 42, Tel Aviv-Yafo Jachnun Mul Hayam HaYarkon St 22, Tel Aviv-Yafo
