I was finishing up a clinical rotation with Centennial Heart for Nurse Practitioner school when I ended up crossing paths again with LB Henninger, who I had known from CCU as bedside nurses. We caught up and she showed me a picture of William (who was one of her husband's best friends). My first thought was that I did not want to be set up on a blind date. My second thought after seeing a picture of William, was that I'd love to go on a blind date. William got my number and we went on our first date soon after that at Nicky's Coal Fired in the Nations in Nashville. It was the best first date and William kept me laughing the entire time. We ended up shutting the restaraunt down because we couldn't stop talking. A few dates later, I knew I was in trouble. I fell in love with William so fast and so hard. I wanted to tell him, but I decided I would let him tell me first, ha! On a very romantic evening at FGL house downtown Nashville, while singing "Mr. Brightside", we said "I love you" for the first time, and the rest is history. William just fit so perfectly with my life, my friends, my family and my faith. I knew he was the one. I wasn't scared to share it with anyone that I had hoped one day he would be my husband, even after just a few short months of knowing one another. After several trips together, holidays, family events, many memories and a little over a year of dating, I experienced the best day of my life thus far! On Novemeber 16, 2019, William Ball asked me to be his wife and it was the easiest "YES". We are so grateful for our family and friends who have been by our sides as they have watched our relationship blossom and grow into something so beautiful. We are very excited for our wedding and we cannot wait to share in the celebration of our marriage with our closest family and friends. We love you all!
