Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on the envelope. If the envelope says "and guest" just type in your guest's first and last name. Please be sure to RSVP by August 25th to confirm your attendance so that we can be sure to save you a seat!

Question

When do I RSVP by?

Answer

Please send your RSVP status no later than August 25th to confirm your attendance so that we can be sure to save you a seat!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that guests wear cocktail attire (semi-formal). We hope you see this day as an opportunity to have fun and dress up.

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

Prospect House 12745 Silver Creek Rd Dripping Springs, TX 78620 Prospect House is located on a private 20-acre Hill Country site just off scenic Fitzhugh Road in Dripping Springs TX, approximately a twenty mile drive from downtown Austin. Be aware of potential rush hour traffic delays.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 5 pm. Please arrive 20 minutes early to accommodate for parking (onsite) finding a seat, and socializing before the ceremony begins.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! Parking is located directly alongside our venue. Although the venue has plenty of onsite parking, we highly recommend considering carpooling or ride-shares such as Uber or Lyft.

Question

Is this event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our reception will take place outdoors overlooking the gorgeous Texas Hill Country landscape. Cocktail hour and reception will take place indoors, with access to outdoor gathering spaces.

Question

What is the venue climate and terrain like?

Answer

Prospect House has an outdoor ceremony and gathering areas, along with a climate-controlled indoor venue where our reception will take place. Please check the weather in 78620 for the most accurate forecast - but we are assuming Texas will be bringing some heat on September 14th. For your comfort, please plan accordingly. Although most walkways are paved, consider flats, boots, and wedges for comfort as you may walk through grass and gravel. Additionally, we have handicap parking spaces, along with drop-off, directly in front of the venue.

Question

Will everyone be allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Not everyone will be able to have a plus one. While we genuinely wish we could accommodate for everyone to have a plus one, our venue has a capacity of the amount of quests we can have. It will be indicated on your envelope if you may bring a plus one. If your envelope says "and guest" or "and family" then you may bring a plus one/bring your family.

Question

What do I do if I am late to the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We will be starting the ceremony promptly at 5:00. If you are late to the ceremony, please do not walk down the aisle and try to find a seat. While we want all of our friends and family to be there, we would appreciate if you would either stand off to the side or wait to join us until our cocktail hour. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

Your presence will surely be missed. Please RSVP "Will NOT Attend."

Question

I am vegan / vegetarian. Will there be food for me to eat?

Answer

YES! Of course. Our bride is vegetarian herself. There will certainly be plenty of options for our plant-eating loved ones to enjoy and feel satisfied. Please designate your dietary preferences with your RSVP!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We absolutely love your children - however, due to venue capacity, we can not accommodate for all guests to have their children present. Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited.

Question

I use a mobility aid - how can I access the entrance to the venue?

Answer

Our venue has multiple handicap parking spaces, along with a drop-off, directly in front of the venue.

Question

Where are some places to stay in the area?

Answer

For some recommendations for our out-of-towner guests, please reference the "Travel" tab on this site.

Question

Are there reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

As opposed to formally blocking rooms at hotels, we have curated a list of options that our guests can pick from to meet their own specific needs and preferences. Under the "Travel" tab on our website, we have noted a few recommendations for nearby hotels. For a longer list with more options and photos, please reference the following link provided by the venue: https://www.prospecthousetx.com/where-to-stay

A note for folks with young guests:

Answer

Please make sure all children are attended to throughout events. We are located in the Texas Hill Country, which may bring risk to unattended children, from onsite landscape and wildlife.

Can I wear white, ivory or cream color attire?

Answer
