After the pandemic, Lauren was living in Miami, and her older brother, Andrew, encouraged her to get out and meet people on a similar entrepreneurial journey. He thoughtfully researched events for her and suggested she check out Miami Tech's networking meetups. At her third or fourth event, Varoon noticed Lauren's smile and big curly hair and approached her. He struck up a conversation about her business and quickly saw her depth. He shared that he had once built an online platform that was getting 20,000 hits a day (20,000 per day is a lot!). Naturally, Lauren launched into rapid-fire questions. Varoon suggested they grab tacos to continue the conversation, and Lauren said yes. At dinner, both of their moms called to check-in. Varoon commented, "How lucky are we that we have parents who still care so much about our whereabouts at this age?" That's when Lauren knew he had a good heart. From that night on, they were inseparable. Within three months, Varoon told Lauren it wasn't a matter of if but when. Since then, they've traveled the world and built a life together that's ruled by their five-pound poodle, Wylie. Varoon proposed in Disney World in May 2024. However, Lauren is still trying to figure out how to get those 20,000 hits a day.
