Tyler and I love getting a drink at the side bar at the Olde Pink House or heading downstairs to the unique piano bar. The Olde Pink House offers sophisticated Low Country Cuisine in one of Savannah’s only 18th Century Mansions! Tyler’s dad, Rhett Mouchet used to spend a lot of time in the piano bar entertaining guests with his amazing piano skills. Amongst those guests on many occasions was Jim Williams, the famous man that the story of MidNight in the Garden of Good and Evil was based around. If you haven’t already, this is a must read book by John Berendt! The book was then turned into a Clint Eastwood film adaptation in 1997. If you want to squeeze in a cocktail and see a historical site all in one, this is the place to go and don’t forget to try their house-made famous cheese straws! They are simply delicious!
Circa 1875 is another one of our favorite spots for a great cocktail, glass of wine, and French Cuisine! The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic night out in the “Lover’s Corner” (a quiet secluded table for two at the bar) or to gather with a group of friends around one of their larger tables and feel like you are transported to a quaint French Bistro & Bar. We hope you love it as much as we do and we highly recommend the French Onion Soup and Truffle Fries!
The Marshall House is a must-see historic hotel in Savannah. It is a beautifully restored 19th century Savannah hotel, known for its iconic wrought iron balcony that spans the front of the hotel. We love going to visit their ornate Bar at 45 Bistro, right off of the hotel lobby for a relaxing atmosphere with an Old Southern Plantation feel. The food at 45 Bistro is always amazing, but we recommend the Moscow Mule in a chilled copper mug while playing a game of checkers in the lobby. Tyler and I are a little bit competitive so this is always a good time! As many of you may have heard, Savannah is one is the most haunted cities and story has it that The Marshall House Hotel is one of the most haunted buildings in historic Savannah!
New to the Savannah area, as of summer 2019, fo grab a beer or frozen cocktail, an out-of-this-world neopolitan pizza by chef kyle jacovino or a bite from any of the local food trucks they host each week. Bocce court, live music, special events, games – it's all at the yard. This is a fun, outdoor space that is family friendly and has numerous options for everyone in your party to get just what they want to nibble on! Located in the Star-land District, this enclosed space was built from old cargo ship carriers as a nod to Savannah being a port city. Near by, you can also enjoy a delicious coffee and pastry from Back in The Day Bakery or a locally distilled beer from Two Tides Brewery. Starland Cafe is an absolutely adorable lunch spot for a fresh salad, panini, or bowl of soup that will definitely leave you satisfied! Wander around and shop in a variety of local stores & boutiques, including Emily McCarthy, a favorite of Lauren’s, or a bar with DuckPin Bowling called Moodright’s.
Outstanding roof top bar and restaurant with spectacular views of savannah. They also have the Rhett restaurant on the first floor that has a great brunch.
One of our favorite places in savannah and one of our preferred hotels for our guests to stay at. The Perry lane offers so many options with the Peregrin rooftop bar, the wayward bar downstairs that has our favorite arcade game Skee-Ball and the emporium restaurant that has a wonderful menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
One of the best dive bars in Savannah. A great place to end the night while watching some of Savannah’s finest hit the karaoke stage. You will most likely see some of the wedding guests finishing their night here on stage.
Another great rooftop bar with bustling views of Savannah. Enjoy a cocktail here at dusk while watching a ship come through the Savannah harbor.
Ask for the orange marmalade (not on the menu) when they bring out a side of fresh, warm biscuits.
Dive bar with a wide assortment of dessert martinis. Must go place for a special martini!
Great neighborhood restaurant for brunch and dinner. Right around the corner from the Perry Lane hotel and the Desoto.
