thank you all for coming! we had the best day ever and hope you did too!!

In the summer of 2013, we met through mutual friends in downtown San Mateo- the old stomping ground. We were 20 and 23. The friends we were with knew each other, so we hung out as a group for a while. By the end of the night, both friends told each of us to exchange numbers so we could all hang out again. We texted for a while, both finally got the courage to hang out in person and were just friends for a few years. Then we started dating officially in April 2016...

On a trip to Seattle with just the two of us, Tyler proposed on Day 1. We arrived on 8/9 and after settling in, went to lunch on the water. After we got some food and drinks, we went to Gas Works Park on the other side of the city. We walked up and down and around to find the perfect spot so we could "admire the city skyline". After ten minutes, Tyler chose a spot at the top of a steep hill. We had a great view, were secluded and it was perfect. He pulled a box out of his backpack and I instantly got butterflies. I held onto him so he didn't fall down the huge hill we were on, and as he opened the box, I went speechless. I obviously said YES and here we are :) *Fun fact: We chose our wedding date to be 9/8 because we got engaged 8/9!
