What is the requested attire for wedding guests?

Answer

We can’t wait to see our family and friends all dressed up for our big day! Our dress code is Coastal Chic—think polished, breezy, and summer-ready. Ladies: Floor-length, ankle-length, or midi dresses are perfect. Pastel and light summer colors, patterns, and prints are encouraged! Kindly avoid bright colors and white. Gentlemen: A dress shirt or polished polo paired with slacks fits the vibe perfectly. Ties and jackets are welcome but not required. Light colors, fun patterns, and breathable fabrics are highly encouraged. Please keep in mind that our entire celebration will be outdoors, and southern summers can be warm—so dress comfortably and get ready to hit the dance floor!

How early should guests arrive?

Answer

Due to increased tourist traffic during the summer months, travel to Sonesta Resort may take a bit longer than usual. We kindly ask guests to allow extra time and plan to arrive by 4:30 p.m. Once parked, please note there is an approximate five-minute walk to the ceremony location. We appreciate your understanding.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Sonesta Resort offers parking located in front of the hotel. There will be wedding signage guiding guests to the ceremony. Please plan to arrive early to allow time to walk from the parking lot to the ceremony location.

With so much love and intention, we’ve planned an intimate celebration surrounded by our closest family and friends. We kindly ask that attendance be limited to the guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding and for helping us create a meaningful, joy-filled day—we feel so grateful to celebrate with you.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

If Mother Nature decides not to cooperate, the ceremony will move from the lawn to the reception area. Luckily, it’s just across the pond. We’ll keep things smooth, dry, and ready for celebration no matter what.

An RSVP tab will be available at the top of the website after formal invitations have been sent to guests.
