Our Story Begins...

2019

Our story began with a swipe. We met in 2019, and since then we’ve: • Survived COVID lockdown together in Springfield, and liked each other enough to move to Denver in 2021 • Hosted countless dinner parties where we love cooking for our friends. Tim has now become a master of the tri-tip • Watched approximately 5 million movies (give or take a few) • Turned Tim into a full-fledged cat dad to Oscar, and added Felix to the family in 2023 • Traveled across the U.S. and beyond, including multiple trips to Mexico, Spain, Los Angeles, Arizona, Kansas City, the Rockies, and Charleston • Cheered on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead, and watched at least 10,000 more games from the couch • Enjoyed life with our family and wonderful friends (who feel like family) in Springfield and in Colorado

Our Engagement

September 30, 2025

In September, we traveled to Barcelona, Tim’s favorite city in the world, to explore, celebrate, and take in the magic of La Mercè Festival. We spent our days wining and dining our way through the city, cheering at an FC Barcelona match, wine tasting, wandering through Park Güell, and even taking a day trip to Montserrat. By the last day, the trip already felt hard to top… but Tim had one more surprise up his sleeve. He intended to propose inside the iconic Sagrada Familia with the light at it's peak through the famous stained glass windows. Unfortunately, it would have turned out to be less of a quiet, intimate moment and more of a full-scale photoshoot… starring hundreds of tourists and their selfie sticks. Pivoting like a true problem-solver, Tim led Lauren to a nearby park after exploring the cathedral. There, in a quiet spot away from the crowds (and far fewer selfie sticks), he got down on one knee and asked the big question. Lauren said yes (obviously), and the rest is history. We can’t wait to celebrate with you, and we promise the wedding will be slightly less crowded than the Sagrada Familia.
