Like many modern love stories, ours started with a swipe. We matched on Bumble and quickly hit it off through messages that turned into conversations that felt effortless. Not long after, we decided to meet in person at the University Center for dinner. What was supposed to be a quick meal turned into hours of walking, talking, and realizing that something special was beginning. From that very first day, it felt easy, natural, and full of laughter; and we've been walking and talking together ever since.

We got engaged at Mount Rushmore during a two-week road trip packed with national parks. Our first attempt to see the monument was a total fail—rain, fog, and zero visibility. So we left, figuring we'd try again later. Thankfully, we did. When we came back in the evening, the weather cleared just long enough (maybe 15 minutes) for the sun to break through and the view to finally appear. It was in that quick window of sunshine we got engaged!
