On December 16, 2019 (a day before Terence's 31st birthday) Lauren sent Terence a "DM" (aka direct message) on Instagram. One would believe she was messaging him to tell him happy early birthday but she wasn't!! Lauren was messaging him to figure out who he was and why he was liking her pictures on Instagram! As Lauren threw a million questions at Terence, Terence threw a million answers back. Eventually, the two took their conversation off of Instagram and THAT is when the real story begins! Terence and Lauren's first date was in 2020 at Pistorelo's in Houston, Texas. It was a fun night of eating tacos followed by an interesting conversation over cocktails and hookah. At the time, Lauren and Terence had no clue they would eventually evolve to be the love of each other's lives. Matter of fact, a few short weeks after they started dating, COVID hit. Initially, they were very mindful of the rules and social distancing restrictions that would keep them from seeing each other. They still made time to talk on the phone, facetime, and see each other (keeping in mind the rules of social distancing of course!). As they battled COVID together, their hearts grew stronger and the two fell in love! As time passed, Lauren and Terence became inseparable. They have gone on many adventures in and outside of Houston. On July 21, 2022, Terence proposed to Lauren in front of an intimate group of family in Missouri City, Texas. Lauren cried like a baby and accepted the proposal with joy. The couple currently lives in Houston, Texas, and are excited to start their lives as husband and wife.
