Semi-formal/Cocktail attire :) Please no blue jeans or shorts. Please keep in mind that this is a fully outdoor event, so bring a sweater/extra layer if desired. You will be walking primarily on grass or gravel, so consider shoes that won't sink into the ground for your comfort. For reference, bridesmaids are wearing a dark olive green and groomsmen, tan suits. We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us!
We love your little ones- we really do- but we want our wedding to be your night out/weekend away! Unless specified on your invitation, we will be having an adults only wedding. Please reach out to Lauren with any questions or concerns :)
There will be a school bus shuttle to and from the Quality Inn in Ladysmith. It can be added to the AmericInn by Wyndham as well if all rooms book at the Quality Inn (please text/call Lauren if you do book at AmericInn so this can be arranged). There are no Uber/Lyft/Public Transportation options (it's in the middle of nowhere :)), so if you do not utilize the shuttle, please ensure you have a safe ride home (we want you to enjoy the open bar, but your safety is also on our mind!). Cars can stay overnight at the campground and people are welcome to camp out on site with a tent/camper if desired.
We are serving hot & fresh, made on site wood fired pizza :)
Not a problem at all! Please indicate this when you RSVP- don't be shy! We will reach out to you to discuss other options :)
We love that you want to celebrate our love with someone else, but unless indicated on your invitation (by & guest), guests are not permitted. We would love to keep our day intimate with our closest friends and family.
Yes, all events will be outdoors- weather permitting. Please dress accordingly (bring layers if needed) and plan on shoes that are comfortable to walk on grass/gravel with :)
Yes, everything is taking place at Split Ridge Campground. There will be parking available on site and you will be directed on where to park when you enter the property.
Please RSVP by July 20, 2025 using the RSVP tab on this website. Please make sure to RSVP to all events (welcome party, ceremony, reception) so we can plan accordingly. If you cannot attend- you will be missed! Just indicate your "Yes or No" on your RSVP :)
"Split Ridge Campground" can be found on Apple or Google Maps, so you can navigate with either of those. Please be aware that cell reception gets spotty as you get closer to the campground, so ensure the directions are pre loaded to avoid any issues. You will come up to a "Split Ridge Campground" sign on the road, and turn onto a long gravel road, which is the entrance to the campground. Continue straight on the gravel road and you will pull right up to where you need to be.
We decided on the welcome party as opposed to a formal rehearsal dinner because we understand almost all of our guests are traveling (either by hours in the car or by flight). We want to make the most of your travel time, and spend as much time as possible with all of our guests! We will have a cookout, drinks, bonfires, smores, games, and all the "camp" things. We want to enjoy our "Camp Hewitt" welcome party with all guests that can attend, and take in our last night as fiance's :)
