Lauren and Tate met in a high school Bible class. Their friendship started from a mutual love of music and has continued over the past six years.

In the midst of a pandemic and after four years together, Tate popped the question on June 11th, 2020. He took her to various significant locations from their relationship during a scavenger hunt, which led to a park in Westfield, where he proposed. Of course, Lauren said yes! They have been busy wedding planning as they finish their senior year of college.
