What is the theme of the wedding?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony starts at 4:30p, so please arrive early enough to sign in and find your seats. Good estimate should be 15 minutes early.

What is the attire? Is there a dress code?
Answer
Formal attire. Cocktail dress, suit, gowns, black-tie optional. Desi/Asian/Cultural formal wear as well. Venue is planned outside as weather allows.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate plus ones. Kindly note that your invitations are for the named recipient(s) only. Thank you for understanding.

Is the food halal? Food accommodations?
Answer
Yes! All the food being served at the wedding will be halal. There will be placards by the dishes to label other dietary restrictions and allergies

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?
Answer
No, this will be a dry wedding, but there will be mocktails!

Are there any travel accommodations?
Answer
Unfortunately, we are unable to support flying or driving accommodations, but we have hotel blocks that you are welcome to book for a discount! Please look at the “Travel” tab on our website for more information on hotel accommodations.

When and where do RSVP by?
Answer
You can RSVP as early as you want, but please RSVP by June 20, 2025. You can RSVP on the website using the “RSVP” tab or scanning the QR code on your invitation will take you to the webpage to RSVP. If you are unable to RSVP online, you can also contact us directly by phone.

I missed the RSVP deadline. Can I still RSVP?

If you fail to RSVP by this date, we unfortunately cannot accommodate you.

We have a registry page on the website that is linked with Zola and Amazon. In lieu of a traditional registry, we've decided to create cash funds for various occasions. Your generous contributions will help us create unforgettable memories as we start this new chapter of our lives. If you want to avoid the credit card transaction fee, please feel free to Venmo (@BigT_99) or Zelle (319-450-0624) instead of going through Zola.

Any activity after wedding?
Answer
For those who are visiting longer after the wedding or have a later flight on Sunday, Tahsin’s parents are having a Post-Wedding Brunch the day after the wedding, Sunday 24, 2025. All is invited, no RSVP necessary. Drop by for some cultural food and mingle. Location and time is 11am at 45 Central Community Center: 14187 SW Meridian Street, Beaverton, OR 97005.
