Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes, a coach will be provided between Glasgow City Centre and Mar Hall. Pickup will be at Millennium Hotel Glasgow. The bus will depart at 12:30pm, with a return trip at midnight. When you RSVP, please specify if you will be using this service.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be Formal/Black Tie optional. This means dark suits or tuxedos for men and cocktail attire for women. Ladies, please feel free to go long or short with your dresses - and hats/fascinators are encouraged!

Can I rent a kilt for the wedding?

Answer

Of course! We would recommend visiting this website: https://www.slaters.co.uk/hirewear Guests must submit their sizes in advance to the store. Most kilt outfits include a kilt, waistcoat, jacket, tie, shoes, shirt, socks, sgian-dhu, sporran, and flashes. The gentlemen can collect it from the store a couple of days before the wedding and return a few days after. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We kindly request that guests are seated by 1:15pm, for our ceremony start time of 1:30pm.

If I choose to drive, will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot at Mar Hall.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved a space for afternoon "Welcome Drinks" on Friday, June 23rd. This is an opportunity for everyone to meet and mingle in a casual environment before the big day!

Will I have cell service abroad?

Answer
