FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, black tie ... break out your best formal attire!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a big parking lot to your left as you enter the mansion grounds - you can't miss it. There will also be complimentary valet parking in the circle right in front of the mansion so you don't need to walk across the street if you don't want to.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be transportation from the Courtyard Marriott hotel. The hotel staff will have more information for you when you check in. For those of you that want to drive, feel free! There is a big parking lot on site.

Question

Will there be assigned seating at the reception?

Answer

No! We want our family and friends to get to know one another and spend the evening enjoying all the space the room has to offer. The entire mansion will be utilized throughout the night as a continuous cocktail-style reception. Following the ceremony, we will start with a cocktail hour on the patio. After cocktail hour, we will all come together in the Ballroom for Lauren & Stu's entrances, a few (short) welcome toasts, and their first dance. Once the formalities of the evening are over, enjoy an array of chef-attended stations and open bars in each of the mansion's rooms. Since there will be no assigned seating, you can flow freely throughout the mansion at your leisure. The band will be in the ballroom for all of you who want to dance the night away!

Question

Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want you to be able to let loose and have fun this weekend! We are having an adults only wedding please.
