Well, we met online! Our mutual interests brought us together: health, food, music, veganism, skepticism, and general nerdiness. It was almost scary how much we had in common, and the timing was perfect. Shae had just moved to Austin and Lauren was planning to move there from Lockney, TX. For our big first date, we each drove halfway and met in the exciting city of Abilene, TX. We went to museum, a park, and then a health food store where we bought a billion healthy snacks and ate them in Shae's car while watching Friends. Not much has changed in the way we spend weekends together... except now it involves a cozy apartment, tons of Netflix, and three fur babies. :)
