Large beer hall just across the street from the Boulderado Hotel. Big steins and German food! Other beverages are available if beer is not your thing. Most seating is indoors with a few outdoor tables in front.
Pasta Jay's
MASSIVE plates of rustic Italian food. You will have leftovers! This is the place where parents take their hungry college student and all of their friends on a weekend visit. Indoor and outdoor seating. Downtown Boulder.
The Sink
Iconic, causal spot for classic bar food. Oldest restaurant in Boulder. Located on 'The Hill' across the street from University of Boulder campus. If you take a walk around you'll see some of CU's Fraternity & Sorority houses. Graduating students sign their names on the ceiling... and yes Former President Barak Obama visited here!
The Buff
Super close to the Marriott Residence Inn. One of the best brunch places in Boulder! There's usually a wait so try to plan ahead. If the wait is just too long, try going to Dot's Diner. About a 4 minute drive away. Old school, laid back with giant biscuits.

Our favorite taco place! We went here for our celebratory lunch after the big proposal. Indoor and outdoor seating. Amazing margaritas. Downtown Boulder.
Avanti Food and Beverage Boulder
Two story restaurant with an incredible roof top terrace. Food court style with a diverse selection of drinks and dishes. A new favorite that was recently added to downtown Boulder.
Dark Horse
Funky dive bar. Definitely a landmark! Best known for their burgers and wings. About a 10 minute drive from downtown Boulder. About 5 minutes down the street from Chautaqua.
River and Woods
Great spot for lunch or dinner plus a weekend breakfast. Previously a home that was made into a cozy restaurant. Indoor seating and backyard tent seating. You'll miss it if you're not looking for it! This is where we went with Mama Candee and Mama O'Brien during our wedding venue search. American food.
Avery Brewing Company
Huge brewery in North Boulder. Upscale brewery menu with plenty of games and seating on the patio. Set up a tour if you're looking to spend some time there! About a 15 minute drive from the Boulderado Hotel in downtown Boulder.
Flagstaff House
If you're looking for an upscale meal with an unforgettable view... this is where you'll want to go! High end restaurant up a curvy road in the Boulder foothills. You will not regret coming here. About a 10 minute drive from the Hotel Boulderado in downtown Boulder.
