Seana and Lauren met in the fall of 2011, their freshman year, at Hendrix College in Conway, AR, where they were on the softball team together. Their first true introduction to one another was one of the first days of softball practice. Lauren was pitching and Seana was catching (classic lesbian story, right?). Depending on who tells the story, Seana took a softball to the side that came out of Lauren's hand. Their friendship grew through 2013 when the relationship changed to something more. Seana and Lauren have been through nursing school and medical school/residency together. It may not have been easy, but good communication skills is the key to marrying, and working with, a doctor! After 11 years, they decided to finally put a ring on it!

Seana proposed on a trip to Dallas after we had eaten at Tresilli’s, one of our fav downtown restaurants, as we were winding down for the evening in our hotel room. Lauren then proposed a few months later on a date at Swan Lake in Wildwood park in Little Rock and celebrated the engagement at Arthur’s Steakhouse afterwards.
