Freedom Park
Given that if being outside is involved, it's almost certainly a favorite of Lauren's, we recommend checking out Freedom Park. It is a beautiful place to enjoy the paths for walking, running, or biking. There are also open green spaces, and recreational facilities like baseball fields, tennis courts, soccer fields, and playgrounds.
Mecklenburg County Public Golf Courses
One of Sean's favorite things about the south is that he is able to golf all year long! Although he has improved his game considerably in the last few years, he is still waiting for his ticket to play in the Masters. While down here, consider setting up a tee time for yourself and others to enjoy the round and weather!
