Best Man
I met Scott in 2005 in a case of mistaken identity and have been saddled with him ever since. I have shared a carpeted bathroom with the man and those memories will haunt me for eternity. As the best man I can say I am truly honored to lead this ragtag football sized team onto the matrimonial gridiron.
Maid of Honor
I met my mom on my favorite day of the year, my birthday. I may have come into her life crying, but she has filled my life with nothing but joy (and maybe a handful of mother-daughter arguments). She’s the one that taught me that it’s okay to walk outside barefoot, yet to always have a jacket. (thanks mom btw). I love her more than anything. I can’t wait to celebrate her and Scott on the happiest day of her life, besides the day I was born, of course.

Scott and Sam’s friendship was star-crossed from the outset with Scott raised amongst Northern California almond orchards, and Sam surrounded by Walnut trees. Chico High brought further division as Sam dominated mainstream sports, Track and Wrestling, whilst Scott toiled in obscurity as Football starting quarterback and Basketball power forward. Their friendship blossomed and overcame as each matriculated to UC Davis and found themselves pledges together in the SAE Fraternity. Many ski trips and adventures later, he’s now “Uncle” Scott to Sam’s kids; this all despite Scott’s heal turn as a rival Dodgers fan, Sam a Giants loyalist. Still the best of chums, they remain united as huge fans of both the 49ers and Scott’s life partner Lauren.
Queen Bridesmaid
Lauren & I met in 2011. We used to work together at The Cheesecake Factory. When we first met, we weren't the best of friends. We would mildly tolerate each other's attitudes. When I came back from Dubai and Lauren was pregnant with Charlie, you couldn't take me away from talking to and rubbing her tummy. I was instantly hooked. Our destiny was both needing each other. Apt #69 (pictured here) is where the story blossomed (alongside Jennifer Giles). Pina Colada's in two hands, a Prison Break obsession, and Friends in Low Places karaoke. I even attempted to learn how to cook at the age of 23 in this apartment. Tag teaming on the daily, we protected my mother, raised a baby and protected and raised each other. Life was created here. Thank you for needing me as much as I needed you.

Scott and I met on the very first day of law school, but our friendship really took off the summer in between our first and second year of school. Scott and I (together with Alex, the best man) were also roomies for a couple of years in and after school. As far as female friends on Scott’s Franker, I’m pretty sure I’m #1. (Scott's note: yup, definitely. If that wasn't obvious by the fact she's the only female in my wedding party.)

Lauren and I met the summer going into 7th grade. I was transferring from catholic school so my dad took me to a Millard north vs prep football game so I could meet some friends from my new district. I saw Lauren on the Millard North side and l literally just walked up to her and said “hey, you’re pretty. Wanna be friends?” And she said “sure”. We’ve been chillin' ever since.

A pas de deux 25 years and counting. We are pledge brothers who have grown in tandem with love, support and respect for one other. Scott’s signature guilelessness has made him many friends and I am proud to count myself as one.

I am Lauren's sister. Always by my side since day one of your life! Love you always little sis

I've known of Scott since probably fourth grade, but we first became friends when we battled in the post on the seventh grade Chico Jr. High basketball team. He convinced me to join him in Lake Tahoe as blackjack dealers in the summer of 2003, which led to my career in the gaming industry. I've had the pleasure of joining Scott in many pick up hoops games, dozens of fantasy baseball and football leagues, and a number of BDYOTCs. I couldn't be more excited about his marriage to Lauren.

I am Lauren's niece. Congratulations Lauren and Scott. Can't wait to be there and stand next to you guys on your special day!

Scott and I met in first year of law school in 2005 and quickly became great friends due to our shared love of sports and arguing with each other about smart and dumb things alike. In the next near 20 years since we met, we’ve been roommates (terrible idea), travel companions (better idea), season ticket holders, dating advisors, and golf partners. There’s still no one better to golf and argue with for 5+ hours than Scott. So happy he finally found his person in Lauren and cannot wait to celebrate their forever love.

Lauren has been there since day one (literally, she's my aunt). I remember being a little kid and thinking I wanted to be as cool as her when I grew up (probably why I did the same pose as her in this picture). Now that I am grown up, Lauren can capitalize on my ability to annoy the wedding party daily to send me pictures and testimonies for this website. Love you Yaya, I can't wait to be there on your special day and welcome Scott into the family!

I’ve known Scott since we were like 12 years old. I have way too many stories to count. Scott and I met in a “broadcast studio” class where we would put on a news show for the entire school in 7th grade. We’ve been friends ever since. Along the way, we started an eBay business, I shot him with a BB gun, dealt blackjack and lived together in Tahoe, taught him to ski, bought a condo, and I am proud to say I am founding member of Scott Ball Fantasy Football League, which is now entering it's 26th season.

I was told by a friend for over a year I needed to meet Lauren. She showed up at my son’s football game. We instantly had a connection and found out we were neighbors as well. We have been friends now for 7 years and I love her so much.

I was lucky enough to marry Scott's wonderful sister Kristin so I have had the privilege of becoming family to Scott. The tight sibling bond with the two of them is evident, and I have had the pleasure of spending time with the whole family on holidays, travel, and special occasions. Scott even let us have his dog Killer!

I am Scott's sister and I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Lauren to the family! Scott and I have been very close since he graduated high school and moved out (mabye not so close when we lived together). We travel together and I have become good friends with many of his friends (some even have suggested I should replace him, not naming any names, but several are among his wedding party, ahem). So of course I have met his prior girlfriends. They do not compare to Lauren. She is one of the sweetest, kindest, most caring, and genuine people I have ever met and I have never seen Scott so in love. I am so excited for the happy couple and look forward to many holidays and vacations for years to come.

Scott and I spent the first 18 years of our lives next door to each other. I was lucky to have my best friend right across the creek. Our lives were always going to take different paths but I appreciate that our friendship has endured both time and distance. I couldn't be happier that Scott's patience is being rewarded with Lauren. She is so clearly worth the wait!

Lauren and I met as dance moms. Lauren is tiny but mighty - one of the strongest, kindest, most resilient people I know. A few months ago, she and Scott randomly showed up to fix my flat tire before AAA arrived because she stalks my location and checks on me like a guardian angel/friendly spy. That’s the kind of friend she is, and clearly the kind of partner Scott is, too. Wishing both of you, Charlie, and LC less roadside rescues and a lifetime of love and laughter.

I met Scott in the Spring of 2001. We were both pledging the SAE Fraternity and became friends amongst many. Our bond grew more later after college when he moved down to Southern California to attend USC Law school. I was working in SoCal along with Moe. We hung out quite a bit together and our friendship grew through the years. Later we become roommates for a few years and even moved together as Scott purchased his first house and I became his first tenant. We both love competition and enjoy the same teams, “Go Dodgers!!” and “Go Niners!!”. If there is a way to make something more interesting by making a competition out of it, Scott is the guy. He will also be one of my close friends and I wish him and Lauren best on their future together.

Lauren and I met when our kiddos were in kindergarten and we were room moms together. It was an instant connection. We lived fairly close to each other and spent many nights laughing until our sides hurt, not even knowing what we were laughing for. She is the easiest person to talk to and loves no matter what. It has been such a pleasure watching our children grow up and sharing the stories. And it is always such a pleasure to just spend time with her

Although Scott and Max went to law school together, there was only room for one whitewashed Korean in Scott’s life. And so it was only after Alex moved away that Scott and Max became close friends. They quickly realized that they shared all the same interests including sports, music festivals, and grapefruit Sculpin. And perhaps most important of all, they actually enjoyed each other’s jokes, a rare feat that made them destined to hang for the rest of their lives.

I met Lauren because I’m lucky enough to be part of Charlie’s coparenting team. I met Scott when he came to covertly spend time with her at Charlie’s dance competition at Disney. He definitely earned bonus points for that. We’re excited to welcome him to the team!

I met Scott @ SAE he was a year or 2 older than me and knew him through the house. He would come back and visit SAE UC Davis as he was a dealer at Harris Casino up in Tahoe. The picture of me and Scott playing an arcade is I think the first time we hung out. We became really close after college and played on the Red Light Traffic Defenders Softball team, Scott Sponsored. We would meet up weekly and watch Survivor and even had a fantasy survivor league complete with an excel sheet full of points. Very competitive. Scott’s not only my fraternity brother but he’s the brother I always wanted. He’s an amazing friend and truly some of my best memories have been with Scott. Congratulations, xoxo Woody Wood

I technically met Lauren at Mutts—a restaurant in Eastbluff that our whole friend crew treated like a second living room. We clicked right away through mutual friends, weekend plans, and lots of group hangs that turned into late nights of laughter. But if I had to pinpoint the real moment I met Lauren—the moment our friendship truly cemented—it was somewhere on a random corner of PCH in Corona Del Mar, during a Sunday Funday so epic it should have had its own soundtrack (I actually think it did) That day involved laughing until we cried, then crying until we peed, and realizing we can come exactly as we are and were just built to be in each other’s lives for all the messiest, funniest, and most meaningful parts of it. We share a love of our faith, motherhood chaos, and more inside jokes than I can count. She’s a forever friend, my spiritual sister. Life gave me a gift the day I met Lauren—twice.
Personal Attendant
Lauren and I went to high school together. Her house was “the spot” we always hung out at and had sleepovers. I cherish those memories! Cheers to Lauren and Scott! 🥂
