Guests may arrive 20 minutes prior up until 5 minutes before the ceremony starts. For the reception, guests can start to arrive at 4:30pm for cocktail hour.
We kindly ask guests to wear Cocktail attire. For men, please refrain from wearing jeans and t-shirts. For women, please refrain from wearing white or light ivory color. Keep in mind, that the wedding will be outside and you may have to walk on grass or gravel for the ceremony.
For the ceremony at the botanical gardens, there will be a large parking lot available. For the reception at the Café, it will be street parking.
Transportation will not be provided. We suggest to carpool with family and friends.
You can use this time to walk around and enjoy the rest of the botanical gardens or go back to your hotel to check in.
Yes we will be serving beer, wine, and liquors throughout the night. Cocktail hour will be an open bar.
If your invitation includes a plus-one or children, they will be listed under your RSVP. Otherwise, we have a limited amount of seats. Please text or call Sam or Lauren if you have any questions.
Yes! We reserved rooms at Iron Horse. You can book by calling them and mentioning Sam and Lauren’s Room Block. There are King and Queen rooms available for both Friday and Saturday night.
Typically, it is mild weather ranging from mid 60s and 70s. With the Midwest, it can change easily so be sure to check the forecast once it gets closer to the day.
