How sweet it is to have been born into a world where I had an automatic best friend? For all the days I have lived up to this point, you have been my rock, my best friend, my confidant & of course, my sister. You have seen me in my absolute worst state and as much as it killed you (to be touchy, not see me in pain LOL), you hugged and held me through it or we retail therapied LOL. You really are the best sister that anyone could have. I often tell people you're just my baby sister lol because you're so tiny & I'd fight for you in a heartbeat. But the truth is, you're my strong, independent, fierce big sister and I have had the honor of growing up with you and of being loved by you & taken care of by you. & you have always always let me tag along as your annoying little sister, but you've never complained about it. I'd go to all your friends houses with you, and I'd sit with you at lunch at school, I'd go to all the sports games with you... & even still, you instantly respond to all my messages & phone calls bothering you about coming over or going shopping or to get food or coffee. Like I said, a built in best friend. I love you so much & I am so grateful to God for you. I have never had any questions about who would be my Maid of Honor because I am blessed beyond measure to have the best and most special sister stand beside me as I marry the man of my dreams. Thank you Sierra, for every single thing you have done for me. Couldn't & wouldn't be able to do this without you.

Kye Ole, Who would’ve thought that one day we would all be married? The legacy continues, and I’m more than glad to share this experience with you. We’ve done just about everything together—from climbing trees to late-night bike rides, Catan with Dr Pepper, and Destiny raids. You’ve been there for everything. Thank you for being there for me as both a brother and a friend. I’m looking forward to many more adventures in the future. You helped shape me in a plethora of different areas—shaping the games I play, the jokes we tell, and sometimes (not too often—mostly around 5th grade) even the clothes I wear. Now we celebrate together, look back on all the memories, and thank the Lord for how far we’ve come.

Because who would've thought the coworker who didn't originally like you, at the job you've been trying to get rid of for years would eventually become your best friend? Samantha, thank you for being a friend who saw the best in me when you had heard many reasons not to. You have the most beautiful, non-judgmental, genuine heart and it shows in each thing you do. You inspire me as you mother, nurture & raise your 3 babies aka my 3 besties! A love & bond with your son eventually grew into such a special and permanent friendship between you & I, and I couldn't be more thankful. You really are that friend who just gets me & I don't even have to explain myself. You are understanding beyond measure and you instill such wisdom with the way you speak and take accountability. Also, you're just funny bro... Literally there is not another person I could have put up for & actually liked for this long as my co-worker, besides you. & I am so thankful that we are not just co-workers, but friends who have seen each other through & have genuinely leaned on one another through the hell & back that we go through not only at work but in our day to day lives as well. You my friend, are a beautiful force to be reckoned with & our God has you & your sweet babies wrapped in his arms & I know he has such special plans for you. Bias, oh Bias—the first and closest cousin of my age, and the silliest of Calvinists. Given how much we’ve grown over the past couple of years and all the random trips we’ve taken, I’m overjoyed at the opportunity to have you as a groomsman. We got to see each other at our lowest—little stubby creations—and now we look toward one of the most important days of my life. Thank you for all the laughs and late-night VBS chats. All the I-Nutties and Passion trips. The random Florida trip and the drive of the century from Atlanta. In all, I feel as though even things as silly as that grew us more than we could have expected. I’m proud to see the man you’ve become, and I look forward to sharing my and Lauren’s big day with you by my side.

My sweet sweet Abby. My heart is truly so full knowing you will be along my side during this most special season of my life. We talk about this all the time, but the way we instantly clicked and literally spilled our entire lives out to one another... We knew this friendship was a divine appointment. You have been my longest most trusted friend & your presence brings me so much joy & peace. I am so thankful to the Lord for you my Abbygail. Through lots of changes and transitions in both of our lives, you have been a constant time and time again. You are one of the best human examples I know of kindness, joy, love, peace, gentleness, goodness, patience & self-control. Which as we know, are the fruits of the spirit and my friend, walking alongside you the last several years I have seen you exercise each of these so faithfully and intentionally. I am so proud of you and who you are becoming and for allowing the Lord to use you in the purposes he has created you for. I think back to the silly days when we'd just sit around yalls kitchen table ranting and yapping about everything under the sun and there was never a point where I felt like an inconvenience to you. Thank you for always being so patient and kind to me throughout all of these years and thank you for always being down for literally whatever- whenever- wherever! Honestly I couldn't imagine this season without you. When I think of someone who has been there throughout all the craziness of the last several years of my life, I think of you and how in the midst of it all- you radiate peace, contentment & fun! You have been a staple in my life and I am so so excited to experience the sweetest season of my life with you alongside me. My GIIIRL. Can I be honest? I couldn't do this without you. I remember already ordering bridesmaids gifts & boxes & all the things but not feeling completely satisfied. We had settled on 5 because 6 seemed excessive, but then I got to thinking about how it would be uneven in pictures lol...All the little things. But the Mr. was like, I don't think I have 6 people so I was like...fine :( BUT one day, we were sitting in rehearsal & after we left he told me he thinks he wanted to ask someone else to be a groomsmen but knows that makes 6 so maybe he can try to minimize, & I was like wait- pause. You have no idea how bad I wanna ask Hannah to be a bridesmaid & tonight just like really confirmed that. Can we please just do 6? & so that's how that happened & I finally felt at peace with all of my picks & I knew that I did the right thing & was so happy. Hannah, you literally radiate joy & light. In ways that nobody else can. From the beginning of mine & Raph's relationship you were so kind & supportive & were one of the very one's who reminded me that God's plans are not our own & we must relinquish control so that he can move. You told me not to care about or worry about the thoughts of anyone else because God knows there were several lol. You encouraged me & supported me so intentionally through phone calls, lunches, & rants. You are so special to me & life is truly so much fuller, brighter & beautiful because of you. I sit here preparing to type this out & I can't help but get emotional just thinking about who you have been to & for me over the last 5 years. You were the friend who came into my life at a time when I had no idea how badly I'd actually need you. You were truly a rock for me at one of the toughest parts of my life & I will never ever forget that. I hold this friendship so close and tenderly to my heart. Believe it or not, this may be one of the most emotional ones for me to type. Josiah, you are the most special little boy I have ever ever met. I have had the privilege of knowing you for the past 3 & some years,(when I'm typing this) & watching you grow & learn has been my joy & honor. You were my most special little best friend for years & I would move mountains for you if I could. Your excitement about life, trucks, cars, trains, the moon , your "new" baby, puzzles, pizza, etc. just brings a smile to my face. You know, as busy boy as you may be, you remind me to slow down, breathe & take all of life in. Watching you play & just be- helps remind me of my why. I hope you know, as you grow & grow, I will always remember my sweet baby siah who needed me to pat him to sleep & hold his hand or he wouldn't go to sleep. The one who would tell his mommy that he wants "my Lauren". The one who out of the blue says "I love you" & squeezed my cheeks and tried to give kisses lol.
