There is a second return bus planned for guests staying in central Athens around 2am. Depending on your replies, we can schedule a second return bus for guests staying in Vouliagmeni.
Yes, you can also take a taxi or Uber at your convenience going to or from the wedding or welcome. However, if you are staying in central Athens, keep in mind that for the journey to the wedding, traffic between central Athens and the coast is often unpredictable, especially on weekends. We therefore advise you to leave an hour in advance to make sure you arrive on time for the wedding.
We have provided options for hotels located in the city center and closer to the sea. Keep in mind that the dinner the evening before will be in the center and the wedding will be on the coast (it’s about a 25–30-minute drive between the two locations). Depending on the grouping of guests, we will organize transportation for one or both events. So where you want to stay/what your preferences are for location (city get-way or coastal retreat) is entirely up to you! Taxis and Ubers are also available around the city.
We have decided to have only children of the immediate family in attendance. Thank you for understanding.
If you have not already been invited with a plus one, please speak to Lauren or Philippe.
If you are traveling from California, consider flying to Europe via another international hub (Paris, London etc) then taking a shorter flight to Athens. This might prove more cost effective. You can fly direct from NY to Athens if you are traveling from the east coast.
