Accommodation Options

We reserved a hotel block, but Austin also has great and affordable Airbnb options. If you would like to stay in an Airbnb in Austin City proper, we recommend staying as south and west of the City as possible for closer proximity to the wedding venue (South Congress is a great neighborhood). If you'd like to stay outside of the city, there are cute Airbnb options in Texas Hill Country close to the venue.

Travel Note

Getting to and from the venue

The venue is 20 minutes outside of Austin from the edge of the city (the time will be longer if you are in the central or north part of Austin, please keep this in mind when selecting accommodation). On Friday 11/4 for the wedding ceremony and reception, we have arranged a shuttle to and from the La Quinta Inn and Suites South West to transport guests from Austin to the venue. The shuttle will depart promptly at 4pm. If you are staying elsewhere, we recommend taking an Uber/Lyft to the shuttle and then taking the shuttle to the venue. You are welcome to use your own transportation (Uber/Lyft or rental car), but remember to plan accordingly so you may avoid rush hour traffic. The venue has ample parking available. Again, we recommend early arrival to the venue so you can grab a drink and explore. If you are attending the welcome hang on Thursday, please Uber/Lyft or use a rental car to drive to and from the venue (there won't be a shuttle on Thursday, just Friday).
