It was 2015 Oktoberfest in white plains where Lauren and Patrick were living their best lives (or so they thought) when Kara Comblo introduced them. Lauren wasn’t impressed. At the end of the night they said their goodbyes and went their separate ways. Patrick texted Lauren the next day, but Lauren brushed off his advances. They went on to live their lives, occasionally hanging out as friends when they found themselves to “coincidentally” be in the same place at the same time. (Kara seemed to make that happen often.) Eventually, about 8 months later, Lauren gave in and let Patrick take her on a date. On the way there Patrick started arguing with her and Lauren thought “this is guna suck, but at least I’ll get some pizza out of it.” Once they got to Fortina, Patrick turned it around, or maybe the dirty martinis got to Lauren’s head. Either way, Lauren agreed to a second date, then another one, and another...until Patrick got on his knee (after lying about where he’s been all day) and Lauren agreed to marry him. Now they’re engaged and truly living their best lives, together forever.
