The location of the welcome party is going to be dependent on the head count! It will be August 31st at 6pm.
Within Glacier National Park, Ceremony Location is at 7-Mile Pullout (Sandy Point). Going-to-the-Sun Road, approximately 7 miles from West Glacier. Given that the ceremony is within the park and we cannot all drive together, wedding guests must have a Glacier National Park pass or an America the Beautiful Pass. Since we are having our ceremony within the park, we are restricted on what we are able to provide. There will not be seating and it is standing only. The couple and bridal party will take photos after the ceremony. The couple will continue on with the remainder of their photos then meet the rest of the guest back the house a couple hours later.
The ceremony will be on the rocky shore of Lake McDonald.. keep this in mind for your shoes!
No formal rehearsal, just a welcome party/cocktail hour the day before if you would like to join us at a local place for drinks
We highly encourage our guests to travel up the Going-to-the-Sun road to Logans Pass to enjoy the insane views! We know you are in your nice outfits so maybe bring a pair of shoes to change into but this is a great use of time since you are already in the most beautiful national park! But be careful!! Don't go all the way to East Glacier or you'll have a long ride back!
Not exactly! We are going to do a welcome cocktail party the day before then celebrate at the Airbnb with family style dinner and lots of drinks a few hours after the wedding ceremony
