We are getting married!

It all started when we were both invited to a Texas Tech football watch party! Nathan was already there hanging out with friends (and Lauren's dad LOL) when Lauren showed up. We cheered on the Red Raiders as they pulled out a win against the University of Houston and chatted a little. It turned out that Nathan was living and working in Plano which is where Lauren was about to start her first job as a PA in a couple of weeks. Later that week Nathan slid into Lauren's DMs and asked to take her to dinner and give her the grand tour of Plano. We met for dinner and ended up staying for over 3 hours just talking and enjoying getting to know one another. He really won her over for good when Nathan showed up on the second date with a "congratulations on the new job" bundt cake and his very cute dog Tate!

It all began as what I thought was a normal weekend getaway to Fredericksburg to visit some of our favorite wineries. Fredericksburg was our first trip together as a couple and naturally I convinced Nathan that we needed to be wine club members, it is one of our favorite memories! We arrived at Grape Creek and I was told that we would get to go on a walking tour of the vineyard for our 1 year of membership. We were excited to finally get to view the property and learn all about the different grapes and the wines we enjoy so much. We were out walking through the vineyard when Nathan got down on one knee and made me the happiest girl in the world. We were then treated to a champagne tasting! Afterward Nathan surprised me with our families being there and we continued to celebrate for the rest of the weekend. Couldn't have imagined a better way to start our forever!
