It's the fall of 2021, and Nate and I first met working the front desk at the climbing gym. We were wearing masks at first, and when he took his mask off for a staff picture I was like WOAH! One day working the desk, Nate was playing with one of the tiny pumpkins that were for decoration and asked if I thought he could rip it in half. He then proceeded to RIP THE PUMPKIN IN HALF! With his bare hands! Later, I very sneakily asked our front desk group chat if anyone wanted to climb on a day that I knew Nate had off, and he of course agreed. My plan was working! After many months of climbing and hanging out with friends, Nate finally asked to take me out, and we've been inseparable since. After years of living life with our 80 pound Great Pyr and many climbing adventures since, we are finally gettin' hitched!!! I met Lauren working at the front desk of Movement Boulder. We were years into the worst pandemic the nation had seen, which meant we were hiding our faces in ugly blue masks. I got to know Lauren, but didn't say much until I saw my opportunity to demonstrate my might and masculinity by ripping a pumpkin in half with my bare hands. I believe that was when she fell in love with me. I still remember the first time I saw her walking down the stairs of the climbing gym without a mask and was struck by her beauty. After that the rest was history and we started the rest of our lives together.
