Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

When should I RSVP by? How can I RSVP?

Answer

Please reply back by May 10th! With your invitation, there is an RSVP card that you can fill out and return, or you can RSVP electronically here on our website.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But if they are not on the invitation, then please use our wedding as your night off!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue so if your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is free parking at the venue with only a short walk to the gardens and reception hall.

Will transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for the events, but we recommend carpooling and rental cars for our out of town guests. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink.

Absolutely! Please reach out to the bride or groom when you RSVP so we can be sure to accomodate.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Of course, we can't predict the weather, but this is will hopefully be outside gardens ceremony. Keep an eye on the weather in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and have your umbrella and sunscreen ready!

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures on the grounds. Guests will be able to head inside where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Brunch will be served in the afternoon with dancing to follow.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please visit our Travel page for nearby hotel block options. There are several other hotel companies in the area if you would prefer something else.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we'd like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #HappyAsALam22 so we can see them, too!

What COVID health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

Getting married in the midst of a global pandemic means that everyone's health and safety is a top priority for us. We are asking our guests to be fully vaccinated prior to the wedding day.
