Yes, out of respect for the venue's rules and the rescued animals on property, we have hired a highly esteemed gourmet vegan caterer who will have exceptional options with plenty to eat (food is our love language in this family, after all). Per the venue's guidelines, nonvegan food is not permitted onto property at any point out of respect for the animals.
YES! During our cocktail hour, those who wish to are invited to participate in a guided tour where you'll get to meet the animals. This farm is home to goats, pigs, cows, turkeys, ducks, barn cats, chickens and roosters, and Dawn the donkey. We will have disposable shoe covers available to protect your shoes during the tour.
So glad you asked! When we went to the venue to take photos and meet the animals, we fell in love with a beautiful senior Donkey named Dawn and a silly little pig named Wilbur. We decided to become monthly sponsors to both animals, and we can't wait for you all to meet them! Please feel free to bring them and the other animals some apples, carrots, lettuce, or bananas if you’d like 😊
Enchanted fairy forest... meets whimsical garden tea party... meets vegan rescue farm... yeah, that.
Cocktail wedding attire is welcome, but due to the theming, guests are more than invited to channel your inner whimsy and fantasy. If you want to dress like you're going to the Renaissance fair, a tea party with the Mad Hatter, or like you’re in an episode of Bridgerton we are so here for it! Go all out, we don’t mind! Spiked heels/stilettos are not recommended given that you will be walking on grass at some points. Absolutely no obvious signs of animal wear like real fur or real feathers are permitted per the venue’s request. Thank you for respecting this guideline.
In an effort to have all of our guests remain in the present moment with us, we will not be offering an open bar. We will have a few fun signature alcoholic drink/cocktail options, wine, and Champaign, as well as fun mocktails and alcohol free drinks for our guests who choose not to drink. Guests are expected to drink safely and responsibly.
We love all of your kids so much, and it’s such a blessing that our families on both sides are so big! However, we have a capacity limit at our venue that does not allow us to invite everyone’s children. Thank you for understanding.
