We both came to North Central University in the fall of 2016. Our floors were brother/sister floors, which means there were numerous opportunities for us to meet each other (yes, we attended the same events and never really spoke to each other!) The Lord's timing is truly amazing. We finally met in August of 2018 and instantly became great friends. Within eight days, we told each other we liked each other and the rest is a beautiful history.

After a very believable fake proposal in January, Lauren was set on not getting her hopes up while spending romantic day in Stillwater, MN with Michael. After lunch, Michael and Lauren drove to Willow River State Park in Wisconsin, to "go on a walk" and to look at the falls. While at the falls, Michael and Lauren ventured out to a small landing surrounded by the falls (check out our photos page). After a four minute (INCREDIBLE) monologue, Michael got down on one knee (despite the ice and raging waters) and asked Lauren to spend the rest of her life with him.
