They grew up being inseparable being involved in each other's activities spectating each other or playing couch co-op together playing games. Lauren and AJ got to know each other as colleagues, but quickly became good friends. As extraverts, Lauren and AJ bonded over good beer and conversation. AJ is a fabulous cook and baker, so Lauren has enjoyed picking up some tips and tricks from her!

They grew up participating in mostly similar activities and grew a friendship through those and other interests with mutual friends.
