Summer garden party! June in Des Moines can get to about 80 degrees during the day, 60s at night. Bring comfy shoes as the dance floor will be packed!

Answer

Formal! Think botanical, earthy, and flowy. At the end of the day, please wear what you feel comfortable in!

Why am I not invited to the wedding on Saturday June 7th?

Answer

Matt and Lauren are having a very small and intimate wedding. Therefore, the venue only allows for 60 people. Only close family and friends will be attending. As much as they would love to celebrate with everyone, they have decided an intimate was what they wanted. We hope you come to celebrate June 6th at JR’s!

Where do I park at the venue on Saturday night June 7th?

Answer

Our venue has VERY limited parking and is located in a very remote area. We are asking that everyone please ride the shuttle to our venue as the small parking lot will be reserved for our vendors (photographers, caterers, wedding planner, etc.) We want this to be as easy as possible for everyone to be able to enjoy themselves!

Where do I park at the JRs reception?

Answer

Please feel free to park on Rock Island St in front of the building. The Sky Glider will be open for guests to ride in. Please refer to the map on where to park to get on the sky glider.

I want to try Manhattan Deli while I’m in town. How will they know I’m with the wedding?

Answer

We strongly encourage trying Manhattan Deli as it Lauren’s family’s restaurant. It’s an iconic spot in Des Moines and has been open for over 60 years. We invite you to please come in Saturday June 7th to eat and indulge! Please tell the cashier you are with the Collins wedding, no need to pay! Lunch is on us! We recommend getting there early as the dining room does fill up quick. The deli is open 10am-3pm.
