We first met on a long 6-hour car ride home from Iowa State in 2018 for winter break when I was a freshman and Matt was a sophomore. Little did we know that this was going to be the start of our love story. After getting back to school for the next semester we reconnected and started dating soon after in March 2019. After Matt graduated from college in 2021, he moved to Omaha, Nebraska and we were long distance for a year while I was finishing up my senior year of school. Although we lived 2 hours away, we were able to visit each other often. Following my graduation, I moved to Milwaukee where we were further apart than ever before. A year and a half later, Matt was able to work remote and moved to Milwaukee. We have loved being able to finally live in the same city together and couldn't be happier. Taking walks by the lake, going to festivals, and exploring our new home. July 2024, Matt proposed by Lake Michigan where our family and closest friends were able to come celebrate. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you and share our love!
