Lauren and Mason met while attending Tarleton State University shortly after graduating from high school. By their third semester of college, they were inseparable, spending nearly every waking moment together. Whether it was Mason heading back to Cleburne for family dinners or Lauren joining her parents on riding trips, if Mason was there, Lauren was never far behind. After that semester, they both realized their paths were leading them elsewhere and made the decision to leave college together—choosing each other while pursuing new dreams. Mason continued his education at TSTC, where he earned a degree in Diesel Mechanics, while Lauren followed her passion by attending Cosmetology School. Nearly six years later, their journey came full circle on a magical winter evening at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens Christmas Light Display. Surrounded by twinkling lights and the people they love, Mason got down on one knee and asked Lauren to spend forever with him—and without hesitation, she said yes.
