We're Getting Married!

Even though we grew up only 7 minutes apart, it took until after high school for our connection to begin. It all started with one message "Hey, this is really random, but can I possibly get your snapchat?". We made it official on June 24, 2019 on a drive home from the Ipperwash cottage (a place we spent a lot of time at when we started dating). It didn't take long for us to become inseparable and best friends. We quickly learned that we are both extremely competitive, share a love of animals, and value our relationships with friends and families deeply. Not long into our relationship we found ourselves in the midst of COVID. We spent A LOT of time together...you all remember those days?? We found new ways to think outside the box for date nights (even if that meant driving around in Mason's VW Golf for hours on end with no destination in mind). This was not an easy time with both of us trying to find our footing with online college, but that time showed us that when times get tough, we had eachother to count on. As time went on and we both graduated college we found ourselves working full-time and ready to settle down in our own place. We were so excited to take this step in March of 2022 when we moved into our first apartment. This apartment was a major stepping stone in our relationship and was a time of growth (individually and together as a couple). In this apartment we welcomed our first fur baby Keeko (a dog trapped in a cat's body) who taught us patience, routine and brought so much joy. In fall of 2023 we were ready to continue growing and decided to move to a house in the country. It did not take long for this house to become a home. Our little family soon grew by one more when we welcomed Luka into our lives. We always knew we would someday get a dog (and that Mason would be the favourite), and are SO thankful we got the opportunity to include Luka in our lives. His goofy, loving and loyal personality is exactly what we had always dreamt of. Fast forward a few more months to a Zach Bryan concert in Toronto. After months and months of wondering if it would ever happen - it finally did - we got engaged! This major milestone in our relationship solidified that through all this growth, time, and love shared with eachother, it was time to commit to marriage. We are SO excited to have you join us on our wedding day to celebrate the love we continue to share!
