Our story starts almost 12 years ago when Lauren crashed Mark's halloween party. We started the night as strangers but became fast friends when we were the only ones to recognize each other's costumes (Robin Hood and Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Our friendship grew in the most romantic of places, the bustling Council Rock High School North cafeteria, over the ever present books we brought to the lunch table. That spring, we went on our first date, despite Lauren giving Mark the wrong phone number (unintentionally). Even after a 6-hour walk through Tyler State Park on that Ides of March date, we decided to keep the date going with dinner at Café Con Leche, a favorite Newtown restaurant. Since then, we've gone on many adventures from literally chasing waterfalls to graduating college to many roadtrips and adopting our two cats. After 10 years of growing up and growing together, Mark made it official back at the park where it all began, asking Lauren to be his wife.
