Grazing Hills Alpaca Ranch
They do tours by appointment! We have been to Grazing Hills several times, and have loved it every time! They have quite a few animals to see and potentially pet and if their store is open they have some really awesome alpaca wool items!
WSU Bear Center
Mark and I have gone to see the bears a few times and they are always so fun to watch! It is really cool if you are there when they are setting out enrichment or feeding the bears.
Moscow Mountain- Headwaters Trail
If you want to hike, trail run, or mountain bike then Moscow Mt is a great place to go!
Blue Lagoons
We found the Blue Lagoon while attempting to huckleberry pick. It is a fun place to cool off. Huckleberry picking should be prime time in the area. We would be happy to share some spots to try!
Moscow Farmers Market
The farmers market is always a fun place to go on a Saturday morning. There are usually tons of vendors selling everything from fresh produce to kids selling crafts!
Arboretum & Botanical Garden
Mark and I went to the arboretum on one of our first dates. There are plants galore and quite a few places you could have a picnic.
Vandal Golf Course at the University of Idaho
Solid course with reasonable rates. Recommend booking an early morning or twilight if it's going to be really hot. Decent amount of shade on the course. Palmer/Ritari scramble anyone?
Riggins White Water Rafting Trip - Mon July 29th
We need a few more people to sign up for a group rate on a rafting trip on Monday, July 29th. The bride and groom aren't attending so we can make it to our first aniversary ;) , but friends and family are invited. Send us an email soon so we can get it booked. Riggins, ID is a premier white water destination. It's about a 2hr 15min drive from Moscow.
