As you can imagine, COVID-19 has created some changes for our upcoming Wedding. With the current state of the world and with the Governor’s current mandates, our venue is only operating at a low capacity and have asked us to invite only family and a limited number of guests. For this reason, we have decided to live stream our Ceremony for our family and friends who are unable to make it to our special day. We know it's not the same, but we would love it if you could join us "virtually" . I have included the link here: https://video.ibm.com/channel/island-sound . Thank you so much for all of your love and support throughout the years! We appreciate your understanding during this time and we can't wait to get married!
Our venue is taking precautions to ensure the safety of its guests and staff. Social Distancing measures will be put in place and face masks will be required if you are not seated at your table. You will be asked to "check-in" by getting your temperature checked and you will be asked a series of COVID-related questions upon arrival.
Time is of the essence when planning a Wedding during a Pandemic, so if you could please RSVP as soon as possible, we would greatly appreciate it! Please kindly respond no later than September 30th, 2020. Thank you! :)
Formal / Black Tie Optional - He should wear: A tuxedo or formal suit and tie. She should wear: A long evening dress, dressy suit or formal cocktail-length dress. Current and retired military service members are encouraged to wear Mess or Service Dress. ***Tip for the Ladies: According to Emily Post, The Wedding Etiquette Queen, it's a common formality for respectful wedding guests to never wear a white dress to a wedding. This is because tradition says that white would appear to compete with the bride.
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! So adults only, please.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, then the invitation is especially for you and only you. Thank you for understanding! :)
