South Llano River State Park
About 3 miles outside of Junction, South Llano River State Park offers great hiking trails as well as swimming and tubing in the S. llano river. The state park may also be an over night option for guests who would like to camp or RV (reservations go quickly).
Fredericksburg
Located an hour from London and an hour from Junction - Fredericksburg, TX has many places to explore. Main street has various shopping opportunities and the local wineries and vineyards are popular destinations.
Mason
Nearby Mason offers a quaint downtown square, with shopping, wine tasting rooms and museum. The historic Fort Mason overlooks the town; swimming in the Llano river is also an option at Dos Rios Park.
Junction
Junction is full of friendly locals as well as fun and exciting activities like kayaking, canoeing and tubing, unobstructed night skies, hiking, hunting, fishing, birdwatching, sightseeing, shopping, and of course, just plain relaxing. Each Saturday morning the locals host a great Farmer's Market at the Junction City Park located at the confluence of the North and South Llano rivers for which Junction in named.
