Maikol and Lauren met through a mutual friend and hit it off. They talked through the whole summer before going on their first date, due to Covid and Vacations pre planned. On their first date Maikol took Lauren to brunch at Bullas, then took her axe throwing to let loose. The date went so well maikol didn’t want it to end so he took Lauren to Top Golf to spend more time together. It was getting late so Maikol drove Lauren home and sang karaoke with her as he drove home. They kissed goodnight. After that first date they were inseparable, Maikol kept courting Lauren through the months that passed until he finally asked her to be his girlfriend on 12/11/2021.

Everyone that knows Maikol knows that he’s a man that pays attention to details. He planned with Lauren’s sister to have an early birthday dinner for Paulie coincidentally in the same place Lauren and Maikol had celebrated their anniversary. In the morning Maikol had dropped off Sophia with Lauren’s parents and asked for Sophia and Lauren’s parents blessing to marry her, they all said yes! At the deck, they drank and ate until the brunch was over, Paulie had asked to take pictures by the water, where Maikol then asked for photos of him and Lauren. They posed and that’s when Maikol got on one knee and told her a bunch of beautiful words that made her cry. A hidden photographer came out and took pictures of this beautiful moment. After many tears and laughs, Maikol arranged for Jaime to drive Lauren and Maikol to a small airport where they drank champagne, they then got ready to go on a helicopter ride around Miami and Fort Lauderdale. They were both literally on cloud 9 celebrating this memorable moment in their lives. Once the ride was over the driver then took them home, to surprise Lauren once more, Maikol had arranged for all their family and closest friends to be there waiting their arrival. More tears and laughs echoed through the room. Lauren was shocked and surprised by how much Maikol had planned, and with the help of his family they decorated their whole house with pictures of them. It was a day full of love and the beginning of this next chapter where they become one.
