we're head over heels!

We first met each other while attending the University of Denver. Although we don't recall the exact night in which we met (Lauren claims it's when I lost a bet and got naked during a Super Bowl party), we do know that we've been friends since. While we remained friends after graduation, life, as it's wont to do, had plans of its own. I moved away to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the picture business (TBD) while Lauren remained in Colorado pursuing her own passion, quinoa. We would see each other here and there over years, remaining friends all the while, but never really considered anything more. Then in 2018, while I was visiting a friend in Denver, who should I bump into out one evening but my old college pal, Lauren. What started as a lively conversation, led to many subsequent conversations via text and phone. Over the next two months, we both visited each other in their respective city, tossing around the idea of a long-distance relationship. Both of us couldn't help but wonder, "could a serendipitous moment at a tapas and wine bar in RiNo really have led to a genuine romantic relationship? The answer, as I'm sure you are wondering, is yes. The following years flew by. After a year of doing long-distance (but never going more than two weeks without seeing each other), Lauren moved to sunny SoCal. After two years, and one cocker spaniel later, we decided to move to Austin to begin building our life. We are beyond excited about our wedding, and we look forward to celebrating with the people we cherish most in the world. We can't wait to see everyone there!
