Lonnie and Lauren met briefly back in 2019, before Lonnie moved to Tennessee for grad school, through mutual friends (shout out Lindsey and Jordan). Next year was Covid, and Lauren was unemployed and had a lot of time on her hands. Lonnie would come home from school and we would hangout each time, getting to know each other. Once Lonnie finished school and moved back to SD we made it official pretty quickly and have been enjoying life together ever since. We moved to Mission beach in 2023, got our fur child Frankie (Frank, Furter, The Frank, Franklin) in 2024, and Lonnie proposed in Nov 2025, in Paris, unbeknownst to Lauren that he had flown there right after she did to surprise her. We can’t wait for this next chapter!!
