Travel Note
If someone approaches you betting they could tell you where you got your shoes, do one of the 3 options- 1. keep walking and ignore them 2. lie and say you're a local 3. say "right here on my feet in New Orleans" anything else and you'll find yourself victim to a local scam.
Travel Note
Parking can be VERY expensive, we suggest leaving your car at the hotel and either uber or street car riding to get where you want to go. Paid parking averages $35-50 daily! Carpool as much as possible.
Travel Note
If you want to jam pack your stay with the local amusements, you may consider getting a gopass which can save you money on multiple local entertainment options. If you only plan on doing 1 or 2 things, we do not suggest this pass, this is more for the "I'm gonna see and do everything!" person.
Travel Note
If you want the same drinks and atmosphere at every bar, feel free to check out the 6th street of Nola- Bourbon Street, but if you want to get some variety, hear great jazz music and enjoy yourself, Frenchmen Street is where to be!
