We have Bumble to thank for our love story. Lauren messaged Leo first, saying he looked like a guy who appreciated a good hike. We bonded over our love for nature and the outdoors, immediately sharing stories about the adventures we had independently taken until that point. It didn’t take long for us to plan our own adventures…. together. Whether we were dancing through the National Mall at night unashamedly singing Dua Lipa songs, way finding through a snake-filled forest in West Virginia, or camping underneath the stars we always find a way to make the most of our time together. We thought hiking up halfdome would be one of the most physically challenging things we’d ever do in our lives. Somehow ‘life’ and other adventures have been much harder to face. But companionship and respect are the basis of our relationship.
