A Purdue staple, this place is known for its burgers, root beer, and all-day breakfast. It was one of Kyle and I's favorite spots throughout college, and it was featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives! Don't forget to try one of the speciality dishes named after Purdue athletes, like the Duane Purvis All American burger with peanut butter or the Drew Brees First Choice breakfast platter.
This historic piece of West Lafayette is one of the most iconic places for Purdue students. Not so much a chocolate shop but a bar with great food and drinks. Kyle sticks with the classic Jack and Coke, whereas Lauren's favorite is the John Daly.
Close to the Holiday Inn located in downtown Lafayette, this local brewing company serves great food and a wide selection of locally brewed beer. They are the second oldest operating brewery in the state and offers a large dining area for large groups. This is a Bayley family favorite, and you should definitely try the Doc Bayley Bitters named after Lauren's late grandpa, Jim Bayley.
