We're getting married!

September 2009: Lauren and Kristen met through mutual friends, bonded through sports, and a platonic friendship began. April 2010: We went on our first date at a coffee shop for a tea. We both went our separate ways after this, no second date requested... February 2017: An innocent comment on social media about an ECG reading. Some laughs, some jokes, catching up like old friends. April 2017: Lauren took Kristen out for her birthday to Ripley's aquarium. Sparks ignited, unexpectedly. May 2017: Their official *second* date. They went weekend camping with Kristen's brothers. July 2017: Lauren moved from Toronto to Burlington to live with Kristen. December 2018: Kristen proposed to Lauren in her favourite environment; sipping morning coffee on the couch in the living room. "Will you marry me?" was at the bottom when Lauren finished her last sip. January 2019: Lauren proposed to Kristen New Years Eve with a bottle of champagne. January 2019: Lauren and Kristen purchased their first home together! May 2019: Venue booked! Wedding to be May 16, 2020. May 2020: Someone in China ate a bat, and the world partially ended. Rebooked wedding to August 7, 2020. August 2020: Our story continues....
